Media Literacy Reflection

We watched two videos yesterday about media studies and the biggest thing that got our attention was that there are 3000 advertisements a day. Every where we go we are looking at an advertisement about anything and everything. Our clothes, food, stores, watching TV or playing games,  you would be looking at an advertisement. They are used everywhere! If we didn't have any advertisements we wouldn't know what was out there, we wouldn't know what is good or bad, advertisements both save and harm life's depending on the item. Also, another point that got our attention in this video was that the media has a lot of financial needs, all media publishers make videos to make money but most of their videos could be dangerous or unneeded.

The second video talked a lot about the world an what people have been doing to keep going. But, a lot of this stuff we see can either be beautiful or be also very dangerous to the society. for instance, 'Junk Values" we see them everyday everywhere we go. We look around and we see a lot of things that we shouldn't even think of. Ex: smoking, drinking, junk food, anything that can be harmful in the long run is all over the place, calling our names an making us buy them. Just cause we see these things all over the place, it makes us want to try them. the people making and selling these objects are not worried about the long run, they are worried about their money! We have to many "junk Values" in front of us  to not thing about them! We got to think of our self, our health before we think of treating our self or anything.
